GASHARU FAMILY FARM and MOUNTAIN HARVEST
GASHARU FAMILY FARM (Rwanda) is a family owned farm and processing facility that has been active for over 40 years, supporting the daily livelihoods of their community. More than a family business, Gasharu Coffee carries the coffee legacy in the community and protects the values of coffee as a social cohesion tool, which is threatened as more multinational coffee companies take over more and more of the coffee. MOUNTAIN HARVEST (Uganda) has earned a reputation as the primary source for consistently high-quality farm-washed parchment in Uganda. They achieve this through quality-focused education, teaching regenerative practices at the farm level, and community-led managed processing stations. This allows Ugandan smallholder farmers to produce a consistent, high quality product.
