This sign hangs on the door of our office/break room. As we celebrate the Cafe’s five year anniversary (!!!), I’ve been reflecting on what has gotten us here. While these values were identified for the Cafe, they hold true for every facet of Florin Coffee! So here’s what we hold near and dear: 

Simplicity

It shouldn’t be hard to get a cup of coffee you enjoy! We focus on making quality over quantity, so you can avoid feeling overwhelmed with decisions. 

Hospitality

We want you to walk in, take a breath, and find a moment of peace in your day. Our employees are so good at making people feel welcome (not because we force them, but because they’re awesome people!).

Integrity

Doing the right thing when nobody’s watching. We try to make choices that are good for our guests, our employees, our vendors, and the environment. Not for the ‘gram, but because it’s the right thing to do.

When it comes to coffee sourcing, we only partner with importers who are working directly with farmers and pay well above commodity pricing. The result is a high quality product that does good in growing communities.
